Up-and-over doors are the most popular type of garage door.

There are two types:

Canopy

Generally the least expensive type of garage door. Around one-third of the garage door protrudes into the driveway when the door is open.

Fully-retracting

The entire door retracts into the garage, leaving more space in front of the door.

Canopy and retractable garage doors in steel, GRP or timber

The up-and-over garage doors I supply and fit are available in either steel, GRP (Glass Reinforced Polyester – i.e. fibreglass) or real timber. Whatever your style of home or personal taste, there is a huge selection of timeless and modern designs to choose from, with the option to incorporate glazing in many styles. Steel doors are galvanised with a high quality durable polyester powder coating in white as standard or in a choice of 6 colours, including 2 Decograin woodgrain finishes. GRP canopy or fully-retracting garage doors are available in gloss white or a choice of woodgrain finishes to match existing hardwood or woodgrain effect uPVC windows and doors. Timber garage doors are manufactured of high quality cedar wood – selected for its natural durability, sound absorption and insulation properties. A range of traditional and modern panelled designs are available and can be supplied stained to the colour of your choice.
